Puniru is a Kawaii Slime, a currently broadcasting TV anime based on the romantic comedy gag manga about a boy and his blob, has added voice actor Ikue Otani (Tony Tony Chopper in One Piece) to its cast. Otani plays Runrun (aka “Cutie”), an original character created by Alice Okanega that will appear in Episode 4, which is scheduled to broadcast in Japan on October 27, 2024.

Shogakukan serializes the original Puniru is a Kawaii Slime manga by Maedakun in their Weekly CoroCoro Comic digital manga magazine. Yushi Ibe directs the TV anime at TOHO animation STUDIO. Michiko Yokote provides the series composition, Aya Tanaka provides the character designs, and Izumi Mori provides the music.
