Singer Shiyui released a music video for her latest song “Hollow” on her official YouTube channel. The rock tune, written, composed, and arranged by Keina Suda, is now featured as the opening theme for the fall 2024 TV anime DEMON LORD 2099.”I am very honored to sing the opening theme for ‘DEMON LORD 2099’,” said Shiyui. “It begins with the serene and solemn ‘Hollow,’ a song worthy of the Demon Lord Veltol’s awakening. In this space of inorganic cold, in the pouring rain, in the warmth of your deep despair next to me. How do those forgotten by everyone sing when they sing a song? With this in mind, I sang with the maximum of the pummeling energy that the music possesses. This was a hymn just for you. Shiyui can praise the reemergence of the Demon Lord as often as she could.”

The TV anime adaptation of Daigo Murasaki’s cyberpunk sci-fi light novel series DEMON LORD 2099 premiered in Japan on October 12, 2024.
