Just in time for “Ii Ossan Day” (November 3) in Japan, the upcoming TV anime Detectives These Days Are Crazy! revealed a trio of unusual characters with a single voice actor voicing each, as well as a character trailer and key art for the new cast additions. The series is scheduled to broadcast in Japan in 2025.

Voice actor Tomokazu Sugita (Gintoki Sakata in Gintama) provides the voices for three eccentric characters: Chikubi Shishoku Ojisan, Cross Munage Ojisan, and Rope Daisuki Ojisan. Together with Keiichiro Nagumo, they form “The Big Four of Yabee Ojisan.”ASCII Media Works publishes the original Detectives These Days Are Crazy! manga by Masakuni Igarashi in their Dengeki Maoh manga magazine. One Peace Books is also producing an English language version with the first volume due out in April 2025. Rion Kujo directs the TV anime adaptation. The rest of the staff for the anime adaptation has not yet been revealed at the time of reporting.
