Puniru is a Kawaii Slime, a currently broadcasting TV anime based on the romantic comedy gag manga about a boy and his blob, has published a special music video (below) in which Puniru (voiced by Yu Sasahara) performs a cover of “Tomoni”, a 2016 song with lyrics by KENTA and arrangement by Izumi Mori that was originally performed by WANIMA.
The song is included in the upcoming “Kawaii Puniru Song Album”, which will feature a total of seven cover songs performed in-character by Puniru. The album hits stores in Japan on March 19, 2025.
Shogakukan serializes the original Puniru is a Kawaii Slime manga by Maedakun in their Weekly CoroCoro Comic digital manga magazine. Yushi Ibe directs the TV anime at TOHO animation STUDIO. Michiko Yokote provides the series composition, Aya Tanaka provides the character designs, and Izumi Mori provides the music.
