The official website and accounts for the previously announced Rock is a Lady’s Modesty (Rock wa Shukujo no Tashinami de Shite) anime today confirmed that the series will begin airing in April 2025 on Thursdays from 23:56 JST. A trailer and a teaser visual were also revealed, along with the main cast and production staff.
The visual’s tagline reads, “Purely, intensely, beautifully.”

The Rock is a Lady’s Modesty anime’s main cast is as follows:
Lilisa Suzunomiya voiced by Akira Sekine (Sora in Soaring Sky! Precure)
Otoha Kurogane voiced by Miyuri Shimabukuro (Mei in Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night)
Based on the manga by Mushibugyo creator Hiroshi Fukuda, Shinya Watada (THE IDOLM@STER Million Live!) directs Rock is a Lady’s Modesty at studio BN Pictures, with series composition by Shogo Yasukawa (Studio Apartment, Good Lighting, Angel Included) and character designs by Risa Miyadani (Aikatsu Planet!). The story of Rock is a Lady’s Modesty follows Lilisa Suzunomiya, a young girl who’s forced to give up playing guitar when she’s thrust into a rich lifestyle after her mother remarries a real estate tycoon. However, when she meets a skilled drummer at her new prestigious school, her passion for rock reignites and the pair form a band.
