Yui Tamura’s Yano-kun’s Ordinary Days manga has been serialized in Comic Days since June 2021 and currently spans eight collected volumes. A live-action film adaptation directed by Takehiko Shinjo will screen in Japanese theaters from November 15, 2024.
The story follows Tsuyoshi Yano, a high school boy who’s frequently down on his luck to the point that class representative Kiyoko Yoshida constantly worries about him. While looking out for him, the pair gradually grow closer and create a pure romantic comedy between a worrying girl and a boy covered in injuries.
