Nanashi no Taro, a guitarless rock band from Hakodate, Hokkaido, was formed by Hayashi (vocal/lyrics), Nihei (drums/music/arrangement), Takahashi (keyboard), and Nakano (bass). The origin of the name is explained on their website as: “The band’s name, which combines ‘Nanashi (nameless)’ with the typical Japanese name ‘Taro,’ expresses the band’s commitment to the sentiments of modern people who are afraid to be different, even though society demands individuality.”“Fuuka” was released digitally on October 3 and is now available on digital platforms for streaming and download.
