“Shiina Hekiru 30th ANNIVERSARY BOOK Want you,” an anniversary book commemorating the 30th anniversary of voice actor Hekiru Shiina‘s artist debut is set to release from Japanese publisher Imagica Infos on December 24, 2024.Hekiru Shiina, best known as Hikaru Shidou in Magic Knight Rayearth, made her voice actor debut in 1993 and singer debut in 1994. She became the first female anime voice actor who held a solo concert at Nippon Budokan in 1997 and achieved great success in the 1990s. She has released 44 singles and 16 original albums in her solo singer career. As another 30th project, she released her first self-cover album “HARMONY STAR” on May 8, 2024, which included a cover version of the Magic Knight Rayearth anime’s opening theme song, “Yuzurenai Negai.”
The commemorative book “Shiina Hekiru 30th ANNIVERSARY BOOK Want you” will include newly-shot photos, a long interview, feature articles from the past Seiyu Grand Prix magazine, a conversation with fellow voice actors Noriko Hidaka (Akane Tendo in Ranma 1/2) and Mayumi Tanaka (Monkey D. Luffy in One Piece), and a question-and-answer section where Hekiru will answer questions from fans.In addition to the 112-page book, an A3-size tapestry, an acrylic stand, key holders featuring for the covers of the Seiyu Grand Prix magazine (4 types), postcards (3 types), and a 2D code card to listen to a special talk will be included as a bonus.
