Our first look at the upcoming Please Put Them On, Takamine-san TV anime adaptation of the manga of the same name by Yuichi Hiiragi has landed today with two teaser trailers, a “Wholesome” version and a “Pervert” version, which revealed an April 2025 premiere. Alongside the trailers, the two main lead characters had their voice actors announced, as well as the lead staff members and the studio.

Takane Takamine voiced by Yurika Kubo (Hanayo Koizumi in Love Live! School Idol Project)
Koushi Shirota voiced by Daisuke Kasuya (Junpei Midorikawa in Meiji Gekken: 1874)
Tomoe Makino (Aharen-san wa Hakarenai) directs Please Put Them On, Takamine-san at Liden Films. Yu Sato (Kotaro Lives Alone) is writing the scripts and series composition with Ryo Yamauchi (Bubble anime film). Maya Ito (Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku Arc) will draw the character designs and supervise as joint chief animation directors. Takeshi Nakatsuka will compose the music, and Akane Maeda will direct the sound design. The series premieres in Japan in April 2025.
Please Put Them On, Takamine-san has been serialized in Square Enix’s Monthly Gangan Joker magazine since January 2019, with nine collected volumes released in Japan. Yen Press publishes the manga’s English edition and describes the story as such:
