In celebration of its 10th anniversary, Hobby Japan Novels shared a commemorative video that included a big announcement. While details are light, the video confirms that Shisui Meikyou and tef’s Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon: My Trusted Companions Tried to Kill Me, But Thanks to the Gift of an Unlimited Gacha I Got LVL 9999 Friends and Am Out For Revenge on My Former Party Members and the World light novel series is getting an anime adaptation.There’s nothing more to report beyond that, but you can see the cover of the first volume alongside Hobby Japan Novels’ commemorative video below.
The light novel series launched in April 2020, followed by Takashi Ohmae’s manga adaptation in May 2021. J-Novel Club publishes Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon in English and describes the story like so:
