An official website and X (formerly Twitter) account today revealed that a TV anime adaptation of yuri/girls’ love series There’s No Freaking Way I’ll be Your Lover! Unless… is in the works for a planned Summer 2025 broadcast. A teaser trailer and visual were unveiled, along with production staff details.
As previewed below, Kanna Nakamura (Alica in I’ll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History) and Saori Onishi (Akari in More than a Married Couple, but Not Lovers.) lead the cast as Renako Amaori and Mai Oduka, respectively, alongside Yukari Anzai as Ajisai Sena.

Based on the light novels by Teren Mikami and Eku Takeshima, Natsumi Uchinuma (More than a Married Couple, but Not Lovers. episode director) directs the There’s No Freaking Way I’ll Be Your Lover! Unless… anime at studio MOTHER, with series composition by Naruhisa Arakawa (This Art Club Has a Problem!), character designs by kojikoji and music by Yoshiaki Fujisawa (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation).
