Masamune Shirow’s career spans a variety of cutting-edge titles, from Appleseed to Dominion Tank Police. His most enduring series, though, is Ghost in the Shell—and this manga and anime classic will be the foundation of an upcoming exhibition launching this spring.The World of Masamune Shirow Exhibition -Ghost in the Shell and the Trajectory of Creativity- celebrates not only the legendary creator’s work, but also the 30th anniversary of the Setagaya Literary Museum. The event will trace Shirow’s career from his early works to the present day, with a special focus on Ghost in the Shell. We do know that there are plans for a variety of goods, including brand collaborations.The World of Masamune Shirow -Ghost in the Shell and the Trajectory of Creativity- will take place at the Setagaya Literary Museum from April 12 to August 17, 2025.
