The official YouTube channel for three-member anisong unit fripSide has started streaming a YouTube-edit music video for their new song “only my railgun -version 2024-.” “only my railgun” was originally released on November 4, 2009, as the first single of the unit’s second-phase featuring its second vocalist Yoshino Nanjo. The song was used as the first opening theme for the TV anime A Certain Scientific Railgun. This newly recorded “-version 2024-“ features the two vocalists of the unit’s current third-phase — Mao Uesugi and Hisayo Abe.

To commemorate the 15th anniversary of the original single, the CD single of “only my railgun -version 2024-“ is set to release on December 18, 2024. The single also includes the song’s “15th Anniversary version” performed by the second-phase singer Nanjo and the third-phase’s Uesugi and Abe together, and the “version 2020” newly recorded by Nanjo in 2020.
