With the publication of the eighth episode of Season 3, the Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- TV anime is gearing up to move from the “Attack” story arc into the “Counterattack” story arc, and now a new piece of key art (below) hints at the story to come.The “Counterattack” arc begins broadcasting in Japan on February 5, 2025 and it will run for eight episodes. Crunchyroll is also simulcasting the series.

The original Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- light novels are written by Tappei Nagatsuki, illustrated by Shinichirou Otsuka and published in Japan by Media Factory under their MF Bunko J imprint. Yen Press also publishes an English language version of the series. Masahiro Shinohara directs the TV anime adaptation at animation studio WHITE FOX.
