The official website for the upcoming stage play adaptation of Izumi Ito’s comedy manga series The Demon Girl Next Door released a key visual featuring the three main cast members.The visual features TOOMI — a member of the idol group #2i2 — as the protagonist, Yuko Yoshida, aka Shamiko; Karin Osanai — a fashion model and actor — as Momo Chiyoda, a magical girl; and Seia Yamada — a member of the idol unit Super Babys —as Lilith, Yuko’s ancestor.

The stage play is set to open at the Ginsa Hakuhinkan theater in Tokyo from January 9 to 15, 2025. Naru Kawamoto, who runs the theater company “Jisoku Ni Yon Rock,” serves as writer and director. Following the advance sales ending on December 1, general sales of the tickets will begin on December 7.The Demon Girl Next Door manga is serialized in Houbunsha’s four-panel manga magazine Manga Time Kirara Carat since June 2014. The first season of the TV anime adaptation started airing in Japan in 2019, followed by the second season in 2022. The stage play is included in the manga’s 10th and anime’s fifth-anniversary project.
