‘Tis the season for Christmas cake—in Japan, at least! The traditional treat can be served many ways, with a popular modern variant featuring favorite anime characters depicted on top. This year, fans of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End can include their favorite characters in the festive season with a selection of eight Christmas cakes from PRIROLL.The cake is available in either yellow or chocolate varieties, with sweet and sour strawberries inside. But we can still admire these gorgeous cakes!Based on the award-winning manga by Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe, Keiichiro Saito (BOCCHI THE ROCK!) directed Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End at studio MADHOUSE, with series composition by Tomohiro Suzuki (One-Punch Man), character designs by Reiko Nagasawa (takt op.Destiny) and music by Evan Call (Violet Evergarden).
