Ever since the release of the final chapter of Kohei Horikoshi’s superhero manga My Hero Academia, the series has been holding a worldwide character poll to find out who is the World Best Hero. Those results were announced tonight on the SHONEN JUMP YouTube channel, revealing that Bakugo, Deku, and Todoroki will be moving into a run-off 24-hour character poll to find THE MHA, with the winner receiving their own real-life statue. Though, that’s not to say that Bakugo won’t be getting his own prize for becoming the number one World Best Hero!Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight came in first place, with Deku following in second place and Shoto in third place. The Plus Ultra Stage will run until 8 pm Japan time on December 3 to find THE MHA. Fans can vote once per hour up to 12 times. A video was released to highlight the battle of the top three.

The heroes that round up the global Top 10 are:
4th – Eraser Head
5th – Red Riot
6th – Endeavor
7th – Hawks
8th – Dabi
9th – Tomura Shigaraki
10th – Phantom Thief
For most regions, Bakugo, Deku and Shoto were the top three, with Deku taking first place in Europe over Bakugo. In the Oceania region, Kirishima took third place over Shoto, and in the Middle East, Dabi claimed third place over Shoto. The big personalities of the series, All Might and All for One, only appear in the top 10 in a region each, with All Might coming in 10th place in Japan and All for One in the same place in the Middle East.The full results can be found on the World Best Hero website with the top 100 revealed in the live-streamed video below:
The full top 10 will be getting brand new illustrations by My Hero Academia author Kohei Horikoshi, while Bakugo, the first-place winner, will be getting his special movie to celebrate his win. The winner of the MHA will have a statue made in their honor based on an illustration by Horikoshi, which is set to be unveiled in 2025.My Hero Academia began in the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump on July 7, 2014, and ran for over a decade, ending on August 5, 2024. The series has spawned seven complete TV anime seasons – with the eighth and final on the way – three spin-off manga series, four anime original films, four video games and sparked the imagination of people worldwide. A live-action Hollywood film has also been announced with Shinsuke Sato directing for Legendary Entertainment. All of the currently released My Hero Academia TV anime episodes are streaming on Crunchyroll, as well as the My Hero Academia: Two Heroes anime film and a collection of specials, with the streamer describing the series as such:
