This week saw the reveal of the 28th Detective Conan anime film, Detective Conan: Sekigan no Flashback, also known as One-eyed Flashback. The 28th big screen entry in the series premieres in Japan on April 18, 2025, and you can see the first teaser trailer below.
Detective Conan: One-eyed Flashback Trailer
As previously reported, Katsuya Shigehara (unit director on Detective Conan: Kurogane no Submarine) directs, with Takeharu Sakurai (Kurogane no Submarine, The Scarlet Bullet and more Conan movies) on the script. The film is set in the snowy mountains of Nagano, and features Kogoro Mori prominently along with one-eyed inspector Yamato. Considering the title, we might learn more about the circumstances surrounding his condition. The Case Closed TV anime is streaming on Crunchyroll, which describes the long-running series based on Gosho Aoyama’s manga like so:
