Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is officially in the works. SEGA and Aniplex revealed the followup to the CyberConnect2-developed arena fighter, lining it up for a 2025 launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam in Japan and in the west.

In the sequel, all nine Hashira—including Giyu Tomioka (Water Hashira), Kyojuro Rengoku (Flame Hashira), Tengen Uzui (Sound Hashira), Muichiro Tokito (Mist Hashira), Shinobu Kocho (Insect Hashira), Mitsuri Kanroji (Love Hashira), Obanai Iguro (Serpent Hashira), Sanemi Shinazugawa (Wind Hashira) and Gyomei Himejima (Stone Hashira)—will be playable.Story Mode picks up where The Hinokami Chronicles left off, sending players through the Entertainment District Arc, Swordsmith Village Arc and Hashira Training Arc from the anime adaptation of Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga.
Crunchyroll streams both the TV anime series and Mugen Train Arc movie in both sub and dub formats, along with the latest Hashira Training Arc.
