Toei Animation’s official YouTube channel has started steaming a new trailer for NOROI KAGO: the Grudged Domain (Noroi no Kago: GeGeGe no Yoru in Japan), an upcoming horror game inspired by the GeGeGe no Kitaro franchise. The clip announces that the game is planned for a January 23, 2025 Early Access launch on Steam.Additionally, the trailer reveals a new stage “Abandoned Hospital” featuring a new yokai Hyakume (literally means “100 Eyes”), which was not introduced in the games’ free trail version. The synopsis of the game reads: “NOROI KAGO: the Grudged Domain is a survival co-op horror game based around the theme of yokai. These are supernatural beings which stem from traditional Japanese folklore. The game allows for co-operative play for up to four players where the aim is to escape from an enclosed space in which yokai roam.”
Crunchyroll is now streaming the latest sixth season of the GeGeGe no Kitaro TV anime, which aired for 97 episodes from April 2018 to March 2020.Crunchyroll describes the series as such:
