Ahead of a 2025 broadcast debut, the official website and accounts for the Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai, Choroi anime today revealed the casting of Yurina Amami (Haruka in Sorairo Utility) as Kazuki Mikadono, the eldest daughter of three genius sisters who’s a third-year student in the performing arts department, along with an accompanying promotional video and character visual.
Furthermore, it was confirmed that casting for Nico Mikadono will be revealed on February 5, 2025.

Aya Hirakawa’s Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai, Choroi manga has been serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine since December 2021. Tadahito Matsubayashi (VINLAND SAGA episode director) directs the anime adaptation at studio P.A. Works, with Yusuke Inoue (Skip and Loafer animation director) providing the character designs.
The series follows Yu Ayase who the Mikadono family takes in after the death of his mother, a popular actor. Already struggling with living up to his mother’s legacy, now Ayase is surrounded by three prodigy sisters: actor Kazuki, martial artist Nico and Shogi player Miwa. The three girls start to develop feelings for Ayase and hijinks ensues.
