Ahead of a January 4 broadcast debut in Japan, a brand-new main trailer released today for Medalist previews the anime’s opening song, “BOW AND ARROW” by Kenshi Yonezu (Chainsaw Man OP), amongst slick displays of ice skating and Inori’s sheer determination.
A shiny new key visual was also unveiled.

Based on the manga by Ikada Tsuruma, Yasutaka Yamamoto (Servant x Service) directs Medalist at studio ENGI, with series composition by Jukki Hanada (Sound! Euphonium), character designs by Chinatsu Kameyama (In Another World With My Smartphone 2) and music by Yuki Hayashi (Haikyu!!).
Kodansha USA publishes an official English version of the original manga and describes the story:
