Voice actor Yui Makino, known for her portrayal as Sakura in Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE and Mayu Sakuma in The IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS, made her solo singer debut under her own name with her first single “Amrita” on August 18, 2005, releasing 15 singles, four original albums, one re-recorded album, and two mini-albums to date.On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of her artist’s debut on August 18, 2025, a commemorative project to celebrate the 20th anniversary has been launched and a special website has been set up. In the 20th anniversary visual posted on the site, Makino, wearing a gorgeous dress, lies on a giant keyboard in the motif of the “piano” that has been her partner throughout her life.

Makino’s top-ranking song was her third CD single song “Euphoria,” which was released in April 2006 and ranked #18 in Oricon’s weekly single charts. The song was featured as the opening theme for the TV anime ARIA The NATURAL.
