Ahead of a planned April 2025 release, the official website and accounts for Gorilla no Kami kara Kagosareta Reijo wa Oritsu Kishi-dan de Kawaigarareru (Having been blessed by the gorilla god, the young lady is loved by the Royal Knights) today unveiled the fantasy romance anime’s first teaser trailer, highlighting the following cast members (in order of appearance):
Sophia voiced by Kanna Nakamura (Alicia in I’ll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History)
Louis voiced by Takeo Otsuka (Jinshi in The Apothecary Diaries)
Isaac voiced by Reiji Kawashima (Finn in MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES)
Eddie voiced by Takuma Nagatsuka (Miya in SK8 the Infinity)
Gorilla no Kami kara Kagosareta Reijo wa Oritsu Kishi-dan de Kawaigarareru Teaser Trailer
Based on the web novel by Shirohi and manga adaptation illustrated by Mika Kamisu, Fumitoshi Oizaki (Chillin’ in My 30s after Getting Fired from the Demon King’s Army) directs Gorilla no Kami kara Kagosareta Reijo wa Oritsu Kishi-dan de Kawaigarareru at studio Kachigarasu, with series composiiton by Hitomi Amemiya (A Condition Called Love), character designs by Sakae Shibuya (Deaimon: Recipe for Happiness) and music by Seima Iwahashi (Quality Assurance in Another World). Yayoi Tateishi serves as sound director and diomedéa provides production assistance.
The story is set in a world were 16-year-olds receive blessings from various animal gods. For Sophia, the timid daughter of a noble, she received the blessing from the “Gorilla God,” giving her the ability to lift over 500 kgs. Although all she wants is a peaceful life, people seek her out due to immense power, leading her to becoming scouted by the royal knights.
