One of the first big reveals during tonight’s The Game Awards was introduced as a new standalone game, which made it all the more surprising that it was Elden Ring. The new entry FromSoftware has in the works is Elden Ring Nightreign, a cooperative multiplayer action-RPG that’s due out on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam sometime in 2025.

Bandai Namco Entertainment outlines some key features:
Rise Together – Join forces with other players to take on the creeping night and the dangers within featuring three-player cooperative play.

Take on the Night – Overcome a relentless environmental threat that sweeps through a land that changes between each game session and defeat the magnificent boss of that night!
