It’s almost time for another event celebrating everything in the world of Dragon Ball games. Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2025 is locked in to return from January 18-19, 2025 at the Shrine Auditorium in LA, and registration for the free event is open now. Those who attend will get a chance to purchase some exclusive merch, including items celebrating the 40th anniversary of Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball saga. The event will be host to the latest info on Dragon Ball games, as well as exhibitions showcasing the manga, anime, movies, games and toys. There will also be special stages and exhibitions for Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle—which celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2025—and Dragon Ball Legends, as well as a special Dragon Ball DAIMA panel and booth. One of the competitive centerpieces is the first official DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO competition, subtitled DRAMATIC SHOWDOWN!. Rather than focusing on traditional esports style competition, though, this one will hone in on the expansive roster and employ special rules to provide an entertaining experience for both players and spectators.
Other tournaments planned include the World Tour 2024/2025 Finals for Dragon Ball FighterZ and World Championship 2024 competitions for Dragon Ball Super Card Game Masters and Dragon Ball Super Card Game Fusion World.Folks who want to check it out but can’t be there in person will be able to do so through a global livestream, with viewing info available on the official website.
