The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei: He Just Solves All the Mysteries, an upcoming TV anime based on the supernatural mystery manga series, has revealed a new teaser trailer, a new piece of key art and two key cast members. The series will broadcast in Japan beginning in April 2025.

Based on the Rozen Kreuz novel series created by Natsuhiko Kyogoku, Kodansha serializes the original The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei: He Just Solves All the Mysteries manga by Aki Shimizu in their Comic Days shonen manga magazine. Chihiro Kumano directs the TV anime at animation studio 100studio. Atsushi Oka provides the scripts and also serves as animation supervisor, and Masahiko Suzuki provides the character designs.

Set in 1948 and described as a “spooky school mystery” series, the story of The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei: He Just Solves All the Mysteries follows Kana Kusakabe, a 2nd year high school student who gets wrapped up in solving seemingly supernatural mysteries with the grudging aid of Chuzenji-sensei, a Japanese language teacher with a surly attitude.
