Yoshihiro Togashi’s Hunter x Hunter returns to the stage in Japan in spring 2025! A third installment of Hunter x Hunter THE STAGE is officially in the works, adapting the manga’s Greed Island arc.The first teaser visual for the upcoming production shows the two leads, Gon Freecss and Killua Zoldyck:
Rento Nishiyama will play Gon in the new production, taking over from previous lead actor Shion Otomo. Nichika Atsuku will continue in the role of Killua.

Akira Yamazaki writes and directs the new production, while Go Sakabe will compose the music. More cast and crew will be announced at a later date.Hunter x Hunter THE STAGE 3 will be performed in May 2025 at Tokyo’s Tennozu Galaxy Theater, followed by a run at Osaka’s SKY Theater MBS in June.Yoshihiro Togashi pens the original Hunter x Hunter manga, which currently runs in Weekly Shonen Jump. Viz Media publishes an English-language version of the manga, with new chapters available as they are released. Crunchyroll streams the Hunter x Hunter anime adaptation, describing it thus:
