Tokyo Dome may have originally been built as a home stadium for the Yomiuri Giants, but the indoor baseball venue has also become the site of massive concerts. It’s also an important site in the Oshi no Ko manga and anime, so of course it’s the perfect place to celebrate the manga’s big finale!Oshi no Ko: THE LAST STAGE in Tokyo Dome City will celebrate the manga, as well as central idol group B Komachi, in a takeover of the venue and its surrounding entertainment zone. Celebrations will last a month and include new videos, decoration, collabs with surrounding shops and more.
Visitors can look forward to decorations and digital signage all around the event space celebrating the manga and its characters. Plus, visitors can see a concert-style video of B Komachi’s “Sign wa B” at Crystal Avenue Lawn Square every night at 7pm. This will be the only place fans can see this video.
Tokyo Dome City’s shops and restaurants will also be offering a variety of special goods and menu items during the event.
A “fan arena” website is now open in advance of the event, where fans can leave messages of support for their favorite character and view artwork from across the series. As fans work together to post messages of support, they can unlock new phone wallpapers. Some of the messages may also be shown during the event at Tokyo Dome City.Oshi no Ko THE LAST STAGE in Tokyo Dome City will take place from December 18 (the day of the final volume’s publication) to January 13, 2025.The Oshi no Ko manga was adapted into two TV anime series and a third season currently in production. A live-action series and a live-action film are also both set to release over the next month on Amazon Prime Video and in Japanese theaters, respectively, as well as a 2.5D stage play to premiere next month in Tokyo based on the stage play arc of the manga. Yen Press publishes the manga in English, and it’s also available digitally through Shueisha’s MANGA PLUS service. MANGA PLUS describes the story:
