Back in January 2023, Magical Girl Raising Project teased that the Restart light novels would be getting an anime adaptation. Production is now officially underway for the new anime series, and we have a first look at the staff and cast.The lead cast consists of:

Magical Girl Raising Project director Hiroyuki Hashimoto and writer Takao Yoshioka will return for Magical Girl Raising Project Restart. Masako Ito, who was in charge of SD character designs on the original series, will be the lead character designer for the new anime. Sound director Satoki Iida also returns from the original series. More information will be released at a later date.The first anime of Magical Girl Raising Project aired between October 1, 2016, and December 17, 2016, adapting the light novel of the same name written by Asari Endo and Illustrated by Maruino. Magical Girl Raising Project is a popular social game that has an ability to grant players a 1 in 10,000 chance to become a real life Magical Girl with unique magical abilities to help people. However, at some point, Fav, the magical administrator fairy, decides to cut the population of Magical Girls in half.
