Prior to the TV premiere on January 2, 2025, the official website for BanG Dream! Ave Mujica, an upcoming new TV anime series from the BanG Dream! franchise, posted an opening movie featuring the opening theme song “KiLLKiSS” performed by the five-member band Ave Mujica.

Ave Mujica is the sixth real band from the BanG Dream! franchise, following Poppin’Party, Roselia, RAISE A SUILEN, Morfonica, and MYGO!!!!!. The group consists of five members:

Additionally, advance screenings of the anime’s first three episodes will be held in 16 theaters across Japan from December 27, 2024 to January 9, 2025. Ticket price is 2,000 yen (13 USD).
In the anime world, Ave Mujica was formed in the 13th episode of the BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! TV anime, which aired in Japan in September 2023. A production of the BanG Dream! Ave Mujica TV anime was also announced at the same time as a sequel to It’s MyGO!!!!The synopsis on the anime site reads as such:

A girl who had lost both the friends she had vowed to share her fate with and the house where she was born and raised.
