Next month, the Sakamoto Days manga comes to life as an anime with help from lots of big talents. Today, we get a first look at the cover for the opening theme single, Vaundy’s “Hashire SAKAMOTO,” drawn by none other than original series creator Yuto Suzuki!The scene shows a snippet of daily life at Taro Sakamoto’s convenience store, complete with a Vaundy poster on the front of the counter:
Based on the manga by Yuto Suzuki, Masaki Watanabe (Bartender) directs Sakamoto Days at studio TMS Entertainment, with series composition by Taku Kishimoto (BLUE LOCK) and character designs by Yo Moriyama (MEGALOBOX director). Netflix is slated to stream the anime worldwide.Viz Media publishes an official English version of the manga and describes the story:
