Ishura, an ongoing TV anime based on the series of fantasy light novels, is returning to Japanese airwaves for a second season soon, and now a new trailer and new key art (below) have been revealed for the series. The new season begins broadcasting in Japan on January 8, 2025, and it will also stream in the United States on Disney+.

The original Ishura light novels are written by Keiso, illustrated by Kureta, and published in Japan by ASCII Media Works under their Dengeki no Shin Bungei imprint. Yen Press also publishes an English language version of the series. Takeo Takahashi and Yuki Ogawa direct the TV anime at animation studios Passione and Sanzigen. Kenta Ihara provides the series composition and scripts, Yoko Chikuchi and Yuka Takashina provide the character designs, and Masahiro Tokuda provides the music.
