Koupen Chan, a social media mascot character created by Rurutea, is getting his own short form anime adaptation that will broadcast on TV Asahi in spring 2025. The main staff, key cast, a teaser video and a piece of teaser art (below) have been revealed for the newly announced series.

Based on the original work by Rurutea, Kyo Yatate directs the Koupen Chan anime at animation studio Lesprit. Yoichi Kato provides the series composition, Hazamu Sakuta provides the main arrangement for the series and Akiyuki Tateyama provides the music. Voice actor Ayaka Saito provides the voice of Koupen Chan.
The story of the series follows the everyday adventures of Koupen Chan and his friends as they enjoy the little things in life.
