The official website and channels for the Skip and Loafer TV anime announced today that a second season is officially in production. P.A.Works will continue to helm the animation production for the new season, while a release date, additional staff nor cast was announced at the time of reporting. Additionally, Crunchyroll is announcing today that the new season will stream on the service when it premieres in the future.
A celebratory image by manga author Misaki Takamatsu was released alongside the announcement.
Takamatsu serializes the original manga in Kodansha’s Monthly Afternoon magazine since August 2018, with 10 volumes released in Japan to date. Kotomi Deai directed and wrote the series composition for the first season of the TV anime at studio P.A.Works, with character designs by Manami Umeshita, and music by Takatsugu Wakabayashi.Crunchyroll streamed the first season as it aired in Japan and describes the series as such:
