Hyakusho Kizoku, a TV anime based on the essay manga by Hiromu Arakawa (Fullmetal Alchemist) about her life experiences as a dairy farmer, has announced that a third season for the series is in-production. At the time of this reporting, no further details about the third season (such as the release date) have been revealed.
Shinshokan serializes the original Hyakusho Kizoku manga in their Wings shojo manga magazine. Yutaro Sawada writes and directs the TV anime adaptation as animation studio Pie in the sky. Ayune Matsumoto serves as character designer, chief animation director and chief animator, and SPECTRICK provides the music.
