The new opening “Tsukaku” (“Sense of Pain”) is performed by Japanese rock band amazarashi, known for theme songs featured in My Hero Academia (2017), 86 EIGHTY-SIX (2021) and NieR:Automata Ver1.1a (2023). The song will be available digitally on the anime’s premiere day in Japan, and the CD release will follow on February 5.Message from amazarashi:
We are amazarashi, and we sang the opening theme song for “Blue Exorcist.” The song “Tukaku” is about a person who comes into contact with the light through encounters with others and eventually finds hope in spite of their suffering. We created this song while thinking about Rin’s struggles so far and the wish entrusted by Shiro. We hope that this song will add color to this series, which is finally approaching the heart of the “Blue Night”. Thank you very much.

The ending theme song “Overlap” is performed by Shiyui, who previously provided theme songs for Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury (2022) and DEMON LORD 2099 (2024). The music is provided by Yukino Ito, whose original music has been adopted for the smartphone game app “Project Sekai Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku.” The song will also be available on January 5 at midnight to coincide with the anime’s TV premiere.Message from Shiyui:
Hello, I’m Shiyui. I singing the ending theme for “Blue Exorcist -The Blue Night Saga-.” I am honored that my blue voice will accompany the “Blue Night” that was meant to begin. Both the ideal image I impose on myself and the muddled and reversed feelings I have for that person. When you allow yourself to embrace each pain, this singing voice will lead you to the place you want to go. I could see all the good and even the bad in that person because that person was not me. carefully overlay myself and others to find the different parts, and with that I continue to learn about me. I sang the song, hoping that the large tears reflected in the morning that would finally dawn would shine with “Overlap”.
