Puniru is a Kawaii Slime has just concluded its first season, and now the TV anime adaptation based on the romantic comedy gag manga about a boy and his blob has announced that a second season is in the works.
A short teaser video and a new piece of key art (below) have been released to celebrate the newly announced second season. At the time of this reporting, no additional details about the new season have yet been revealed. Crunchyroll currently streams the first season of the series.

Shogakukan serializes the original Puniru is a Kawaii Slime manga by Maedakun in their Weekly CoroCoro Comic digital manga magazine. Yushi Ibe directs the TV anime at TOHO animation STUDIO. Michiko Yokote provides the series composition, Aya Tanaka provides the character designs, and Izumi Mori provides the music.
