The official YouTube channel for Japanese loud rock female idol group PassCode has started streaming a music video for their latest CD single song, “SKILLAWAKE.” The rock tune has been featured as the opening theme for the second season of the TV anime As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World.

As their third anime theme song work following “Ray” (2018 / To Be Heroine season 2 opening theme) and “WILLSHINE” (2024 / SHY opening theme), “SKILLAWAKE” released digitally first on October 7. The CD single followed on December 18, ranking #4 in Oricon’s daily single charts on its first day.

The original As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World light novels are written by Miraijin A, illustrated by jimmy, and published in Japan by Kodansha under their Kodansha Ranobe Books imprint. Kodansha USA also publishes an English language version of the series. Takao Kato directs the TV anime at studio MOTHER. Yaushiro Nakanishi provides the series composition, Yuko Yahiro provides the character designs, and Kujira Yumemi provides the music.The TV anime’s first season aired for 12 episodes from April to June 2024, then the second season followed with another 12 episodes from October to December 2024. As reported, the next third season has already been in the works.Crunchyroll, which streams the first two seasons, describes the series as such:
