Anisong singer ASCA held her last live stream of the year on her official YouTube channel on December 24. During the Christmas Eve program, she sang two songs: The traditional “White Christmas” and “Hibari,” the ending theme for the Lord El-Melloi II’s Case Files {Rail Zeppelin} Grace note anime.ASCA’s official YouTube channel also released a video of the “White Christmas” performance after the live stream was complete. She sang in studio with Shota Okuno on bass, Mochizuki Yasunori on piano and Wataru Tanaka on drums prior to the live-stream.

ASCA also posted the following message on her official X (formerly Twitter) after the stream: “I am sorry that I had kept you waiting…I got to see you all today in one piece! We had a great Christmas Eve together. Thanks for making it. Please watch it again and again in the archive!”

ASCA is a solo project name of Asuka Okura, one of the finalists of the 5th All Japan Anison Grand Prix in 2011. Under the project name, she has performed theme songs for various anime series, including Record of Grancrest War (2018), Sword Art Online: Alicization (2019), Darwin’s Game (2020), and The Irregular at Magic High School (2024).Most recently, her 12th CD single song “Ashita Sekai ga Owarutoshitemo” (“Even if the world were to end tomorrow”) was featured as the opening theme for the fall 2024 TV anime Demon Lord, Retry! R.
