Zatsu Tabi -That’s Journey- hits the road this spring! The first full-length trailer for the upcoming anime adaptation reveals a release window, a taste of the opening theme song and two new cast members.Check out the new trailer below, featuring a sample of opening theme “Tabishiyo! don’t you?” by voice actor duo harmoe:

The show’s ending theme will be “bookmarks,” composed by Sizuk (THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS) and performed by utaite Harucha.Additionally, the trailer introduces two new cast members. Satomi Sato (Mizuki Shibata in The Irregular at Magic High School) will play Fuyune Kojiya, and Yoko Hikasa (Arthur Pencilgon in Shangri-La Frontier) will appear as Riri Tenkubashi.

Masaharu Watanabe (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-) directs Zatsu Tabi -That’s Journey-, based on the manga by Kenta Ishizaka, at studio Makaria, with series composition by Yoshiko Nakamura (Sasaki and Miyano), character designs by rere and music by Yoshiaki Fujisawa (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation).The story follows the journey and growth of Chika Suzugamori, a college student aspiring to become a manga artist. Chika has won a rookie manga award, but her heart is about to break when all three of the manga drafts she submitted for her new works to the editorial department were rejected. For fun, she conducts a survey on SNS about her journey’s destination, and gets a great response. Unable to back down, she decides to start a haphazard journey, relying on the survey.
