From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad’s Been Reincarnated!, an upcoming TV anime based on the comic fantasy manga, has revealed two new cast members for the series. The series will broadcast in Japan beginning on January 9, 2025, and it will also stream in the United States on HIDIVE.
The new cast members include: Garnet voiced by Yuna Kamakura and Headmaster voiced by Hochu Otsuka (pictured below).

Shonen Gahosha has serialized the original From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad’s Been Reincarnated! manga by Michiro Ueyama in their Young King Ours GH seinen manga magazine since March 2020. Tetusya Takeuchi directs the TV anime at animation studio Ajia-do. Shingo Irie provides the series composition, Haruka Matsunae and Yuki Miyamoto provide the character designs and Natsumi Tabuchi, Misaki Tsuchida, Tsugumi Tanaka and Reiko Abe provide the music.
The story of From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad’s Been Reincarnated! follows Kenzaboro Tondabayashi, a 52 year old man who finds himself reincarnated in the role of Grace, a villainess daughter in a world similar to an otome game. Kenzaboro is enough of an otaku to understand reincarnation, but he’s not familiar with otome games, so his earnest attempts to be a baddy to the hard-working commoner heroine and her noble love interests come across as endearing, like an older guy interacting with his kids…
