The official website for the My Happy Marriage anime today released a main trailer for its upcoming second season. The clip reveals the voice of Kaoruko Jinnouchi, the only female member of the Special Anti-Grotesquerie Unit voiced by Haruka Tomatsu, for the first time.

Additionally, a special New Year’s program featuring the anime’s four main voice cast members — Reina Ueda (Miyo Saimori), Kaito Ishikawa (Kiyoka Kudo), Hiro Shimono (Yoshito Godo), and Haruka Tomatsu (Kaoruko Jinnouchi) will stream on YouTube at noon on January 1, 2025.
Following the first season that aired for 12 episodes from July to September 2024, the second season of the TV anime adaptation of Akumi Agitogi’s romance fantasy light novel series My Happy Marriage is set to premiere on January 6, 2025. Takehiro Kubota (ID: INVADED assistant director) continues to serve as the director at studio Kinema Citrus. Yen Press,. which publishes an official English version of the novel series, describes the story:

Born talentless to a noble family famous for their supernatural abilities, Miyo Saimori is forced into an existence of servitude by her abusive stepmother. When Miyo finally comes of marriageable age, though, her hopes of being whisked away to a better life crumble after she discovers her fiancé’s identity: Kiyoka Kudou, a commander apparently so cold and cruel that his previous would-be brides all fled within three days of their engagements.
