The official YouTube channel for the six-member Japanese rock band UVERworld is now streaming a music video for their 44th CD single song “MMH.”The fast rock tune has been featured as the opening theme for the second season of the TV anime The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse. This is the band’s third theme song work for The Seven Deadly Sins anime franchise, following “ROB THE FRONTIER” in 2019 and “NAMELY” in 2021.According the interview with the band’s vocalist TAKUYA∞ on Music Natalie on December 4, the title “MMH” stands for “Meta Matrix Hacker,” which is a coined word created with the image of using this music to express the human mind in the midst of AI and various other things that are now surpassing humans.

The first season of the TV anime adaptation of Four Knights of the Apocalypse, a sequel to Suzuki’s The Seven Deadly Sins manga series, aired for 24 episodes from October 2023 to March 2024 and streamed on Netflix worldwide. Maki Odaira (Pokémon Journeys) has directed the series at TMS Entertainment. The second season has aired since October 6, 2024.Nakaba’s manga is serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine since January 2021. Kodansha USA, who releases the English edition, describes the story:
