THE IDOLM@STER Franchise Releases 20th Anniversary Special Music Video

As part of the previously reported 20th anniversary project, THE IDOLM@STER franchise's official YouTube channel is now streaming a special music video for "READY!" performed by 765PRO ALLSTARS, the first opening theme song for the TV anime series in 2011. The clip introduces the main idols of the anime and then summarizes a series of memorable scenes from the anime story.As previously reported, the franchise streamed a special program "All-Imas Daikanshasai~2025-nen made Mou Matenai! Live Streaming") live to reveal upcoming plans for its 20th anniversary project on December 27, 2024.

The clip introduces the main idols of the anime and then summarizes a series of memorable scenes from the anime story.

As previously reported, the franchise streamed a special program “All-Imas Daikanshasai~2025-nen made Mou Matenai! Namahaishin” (“All-Imas Great Thanksgiving Festival ~We can’t wait any longer until 2025! Live Streaming”) live to reveal upcoming plans for its 20th anniversary project on December 27, 2024. A total of more than 20 people, including 12 voice actors from each of the series, appeared in the largest year-end joint live streaming to date.

The following upcoming plans were introduced in the program:

“THE IDOLM@STER 20th anniversary ORCHESTRA CONCERT SYMPHONY OF BRILLIANT STARS,” a joint orchestra concert of the franchise, is scheduled to be held at the Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall on July 21, 2025.In addition to a full orchestra performing songs from each series, live performances and singing by idols, voice actors, and artists who have created songs for the franchise are also planned. Advance ticket sales to Asobi Store Premium members will open from December 27, 2024 at 21:00 to January 19, 2025 at 23:59 (JST).

A special event “THE IDOLM@STER 20th anniversary special party I MUST GO ON! Korekaramo Aimas Desuyo” will be held at Mori no Hall 21 (Matsudo City Civic Hall) in Chiba Prefecture on July 26, 2025, the 20th anniversary day. The franchise’s official YouTube channel will stream the event live for free.

The logo and performers for the live concert “765PRO ALLSTARS LIVE~NEVER END IDOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!” to be held at K-Arena Yokohama in Kanagawa Prefecture on August 2 and 3, 2025 were revealed in a video below.

The first manhole project in the franchise, “Futam@s !!!!!!” has launched. Manholes with designs of idols that have a strong affinity with the area will be installed throughout Japan.At present, collaborations with the following three cities have been announced:

  • Takatsuki City, Osaka Prefecture: Yayoi Takatsuki from THE IDOLM@STER

  • Matsue City in Shimane Prefecture: Kotoha Tanaka from THE IDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE!

  • Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture: Miku Maeakwa from The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls

Additionally, efforts are underway with other municipalities, including Chikusei City, Ibaraki Prefecture and Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture.The designs of the Yayoi Takatsuki and Katoha Tanaka manholes have been revealed.
