The Utagoe ha Mille-Feuille anime is still half a year away, but there will be plenty of a capella music to enjoy in the meantime! The media mix project has just released a new track from Utagoe ha Mille-Feuille, the anime’s central group, as well as more information about their upcoming fifth single.A new YouTube video previews “STARLIGHT,” the group’s latest original song. Utagoe ha Mille-Feuille – “STARLIGHT” Preview
“STARLIGHT” is written and composed by N1K0 and AYOUNG of artist collective ARTribe.Track 2 of the new single is an a capella cover of Cardcaptor Sakura‘s third opening song, “Platinum,” composed by Yoko Kanno and originally performed by Maaya Sakamoto. The third and fourth tracks will include karaoke tracks of both “STARLIGHT” and “Platinum”—that is, the a capella performance with the lead melody vocal omitted.The “STARLIGHT” single will be released on January 22, 2025. Pre-orders are currently open through the Animate Store.
