After the broadcast of the latest 13th episode of the Blue Box TV anime in Japan last night, Telecom Animation Film’s official YouTube channel started streaming the creditless opening and ending videos for the anime’s second cour.

The new opening theme song “Saraba” (“If So”) is performed by the four-member Japanese rock band Macaroni Empitsu. As their fourth anime theme song work, “Saraba” digitally released on January 3, 2025.

The new ending theme song “Contrast” is sung by singer-songwriter TOMOO. This is her first anime theme song work. “Contrast” will be available digitally on January 8.

Based on the manga by Koji Miura, Yuichiro Yano (LUPIN THE 3rd PART 5) directs the Blue Box anime at studio Telecom Animation Film, with series composition by Yuko Kakihara (The Apothecary Diaries), character designs by Miho Tanino (Tower of God) and music by Takashi Omama (Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury). The TV anime premiered in Japan on October 3, 2024, and Netflix is steaming it worldwide.VIZ Media publishes an official English version of the manga and describes the story:
