The five-member anisong unit JAM Project opened a special website for its 25th anniversary project on January 1, 2025. The internationally popular unit was formed on July 17, 2000, releasing 74 singles, six original albums, and 14 best albums to date. It currently consists of Hironobu Kageyama, Masaaki Endoh, Hiroshi Kitadani, Masami Okui, and Yoshiki Fukuyama. In their 10th, 15th, and 20th anniversaries, they actively went through various activities, including further expansion into overseas markets, large-scale live concerts at Nippon Budokan and Yokohama Arena in Japan, and releasing their best and anniversary original albums.
Their latest digital single “But still we…,” which is now featured in Bandai Namco Entertainment’s smartphone game Super Robot Wars DD, released on January 1, 2025. Additionally, a 25th anniversary high-resolution album “JAM Project High-Resolution BEST High-Power l〜V” will be available for digital distribution on January 29. This album contains 50 songs carefully selected by decade from their previous 14 best albums.
The site further announced that the first major announcement from the 25th anniversary project will be made on January 29. The press release says that the announcement will shake the anisong world. Stay tuned!
