The official YouTube channel for singer Shiyui has started streaming a music video for her latest song “Overlap,” which is now featured as the ending song for Blue Exorcist -The Blue Night Saga-. The song digitally released on January 5, 2025, the premiere day of the latest arc of the Blue Exorcist TV anime series. The theme of “Overlap” is to gently encourage people to start moving forward while facing and struggling with difficulties and their own weaknesses. The music is provided by Yukino Ito, whose original music has been used in the smartphone game application Project Sekai Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku, which has been attracting attention especially among young people. Newly drawn illustrations featured in the music video were provided by illustrator LOWRISE.

Shiyui made her major label debut on Sony Music Labels’ in-house label, Sony Music Associated Records label, with “Kimi yo Kedakaku Are,” the ending theme song for the TV anime Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury in November 2022.
