We apologize for the inconvenience this delay may cause to those who have been looking forward to the release of the film, and we would appreciate your understanding in this matter. The new release date will be announced on the film’s official website and official SNS as soon as it is decided.”Additionally, the film’s preview screening event that was scheduled for January 21 was also canceled. On December 30, 2024, when the film’s lead actor Ryo Yoshizawa, who was cast as 450-year-old vampire Ranmaru Mori, returned to his apartment, he drunkenly broke into his neighbor’s room instead of his own and was arbitrarily questioned by the Metropolitan Police Department on suspicion of breaking and entering. His agency Amuse reported on January 14 that he had reached a settlement with the person living in the next room. The incident has caused companies to terminate their contracts with him, including beer commercials.
